Mr. Fidèle akufa kala
Title: Mr. Fidèle akufa kala (être fidèle au Congo n’est pas facile) (to be faithful in Congo is not easy)
Characters: 19 actors
Stage setting: Empty space that will be filled up with the objects that the characters themselves bring.
Type of theater: A work of creation based on the actions, objects and stories for the actors to begin producing material. The dramaturgy and the staging of the play are constructed from that material. There is no previous text.
A play that presents life in Kinshasa, of the Congo through its everydayness, its conflicts, its past turbulence, its myths and its rituals, but most of all, its extraordinary vitality.
A type of show that depends directly on its actors and the place where it unfolds.
